My name is Deb Banerji and I'm a Computer Science major at Georgia Tech. When I'm not in
class, I can be found attending hackathons, baking cheesecakes, solving Rubik's cubes and listening
unhealthy reasonable amounts of (pre 2014) Taylor Swift music.
In the past few years, I've developed a
strange addiction to
strong passion for spending my weekends at hackathons. As glamorous as writing code nonstop for long
hours on end may seem, the reality is even more exciting (as terribly difficult that may be to
believe). Many of my favourite projects got their start at hackathons.
After a long day of class in which I analyze algorithms, exercise my brain and solve problems, I like to relax and unwind by analyzing algorithms, exercising my brain and solving problems.
Rubik's cube speedsolving is one of my favourite hobbies. I have both competed in and volunteered at multiple official WCA (World Cube Association) Competitions. I like solving many different types of puzzles, but my favourite events are 3x3 and 3x3 one-handed.Click here to see my fancy official WCA competitor page
